Punggol Gathering 29/06/07

Another gathering at Punggol. I always get lost going there, even with my trusty GPS. But eventually, I found my way there.

This session is a DIY Sound Proof session. Wireless (Teddy) was there doing up his ride, with a few other Wish Owners.




Definitely big project. I think by 2 a.m., only the front row was completed. Good thing I got mine done commercially. I don't think I can 'tahan' just a big DIY project.

Also, got to see Lim's new front bumper!! Nice! One piece type.



And we have a WCM member there as well, with Y2 and Wong. Wide fender kit, LX Mode emblem. Quite a cool ride indeed.



Something else of interest, reflective stickers! Looks very sharp when you take flash pictures!! This one belongs to Wildbear (Teddy).

Taipei romp

Went around to CKS' place today and was looking at them doing the Cruise control modification for Toyota Wish. Total change of the wire harness. No mean feat here. No bad no expertise to do the same thing in Singapore. Otherwise, I'm sure people like Justin and Raymond sure go for it as they travel up to Kuala Lumpur every now and then.



Anyway, here is the 240 Aerosports style meter, but in the JDM high grade format. Nice! But not for me.



Oh. Seems like Hummer are getting popular here. I've already seen so many of them.

TRD Key ring

Got bored with my current key ring and decided to change to a new one.

Had this TRD keyring for quite sometime, but never borthered to use it. Thought it might be a refreshing change.



I like all the Japanese race tracks engraved at the back.



Maybe I should go for a D.A.D Garson one next. Actually, I'm looking for a better alarm so that might be a better option. All I need is a stylish controller to attach to my carkey. Can't understand why they don't work on the design aspect of the controller. Most of them looks hideous.

Razo Heel Plate

Was with Justin at Audio Concept on a lazy saturday. Chanced upon this Razo heel plate that John mentioned earlier and decided to fix it up.

Originally price at JPY6000, which is almost S$90, we got it installed for only S$48!



I think it's quite matching with my aluminum pedals. The only thing I hate about it is the Carbon Fibre sticker. I might remove that.

However, I do like the heel restraint which keeps your heel locked in at the selected position. Also, this heel plate comes with screw spacers so that you can accomodate carpet of various thickness and a flat screw set with T shape bolt at the bottom. Will not scratch your fabric mat on the floor plan. Well thought out design. Worth the money.
