New Toyota Wish Launched
It's finally launched!
www.toyota.jp/wish
I don't quite like the styling, but there are some improvements in this model such as a larger cabin, repositioned side mirror for better visibility. The new paddle shift on the steering wheel looks nice. The speedometer looks cool too.

www.wishclub.org is now defunct!
Was tidying up the site a bit and realised that the old wishwerk website is now gone. Wonder if the workshop is still around.
Met Sebestian the other day and he is now running Makan Express. He has a italian eatery and a sushi joint at Clementi Ave 2 coffeeshop. Enterprising guy!

Finally.... The Alpine W202 head unit is up!
After a few false starts, and putting this baby in cold storage for about 2 whole years, finally got off my butt and took the Alpine W202 set and all the accessories to be fixed up at Darren Audio yesterday. Optical cable, Ipod Cable, 701 processor, remote, etc, were all installed.
In addition, I added something else!!!! It's the DLS 4 channel amp!
Due to space constraint, I could not add the A4, so settled for the reference series.
More to come!

It's been so looonnng!
Wow! It's been sooo long since I last update this blog. More than a year ago. Obviously I've lost interest along the way as there wasn't much left to do that I found appealing.
It's not that I don't like my car anymore. In fact, over the years, I've grown to like the Wish very much and the way it handles on the road. A lot of friends still wonder why I get such a big car when that's only 2 of us in it most of the time.
Anyway, had to do some spring cleaning and dug up a box of stuff that I've yet to put in the car, so decided to get back into the game and put whatever I can find on the ride.
Will update a bit on what happened in retropect if I get around to it.
Also, this was previously a closed group, restricted to a few. I have now decided to open up the blog for all to read.

Wildbear's kit up!
Pop by Audio Concepts today for a quick lunch with Teddy since his Wald Sport Line body kit is going up today.
Here's the TRD emblem on the back of his car. Looks very nice! Too bad I don't have anymore space on the rear door.
He did the full works, spoiler, bonet spoiler, G square bonnet garnish, AMS front bumper grill cover, eyelids, etc, etc. Big project!
And of course, how can we miss out Sidney's fierce looking ride. Turbo charged and now with a vented fibreglass bonnet.
Oh.. not to forget the Wilwood front brake upgrade too!
Fierce ah!!

Wolfman
Was at Audio Concepts yesterday with Yeo and Justin. So I took a picture of the Wolfman's ride.
Unfortunately, a lot of cars coming in and out as it was dinner time. Not ideal and lack the critical sharpness. Will have to do a reshoot.
Click on the picture for a 1024 pixel version. Here's one more with the wolfman himself.

Door Garnish up!
Went to GP Motor to look at some GARSON DAD accessories with Yeo today. Saw this fully Garson DAD kitted Honda Stream and it was like WOW! I think Yeo will be heading the VIP way soon! Hee Hee.
Anyway, went to Audio Concepts and since I brought my door garnish, might as well fix them up. By the way, it's door garnish, NOT door protector. Serves no protection to the door in anyway. Purely ornamental and decorative.
Had these for a while (as usual), and they are original Toyota parts for Wish. However, only for Taiwan specs, covering the indent at the lower portion of the doors. Forgot to copy down the part numbers for those interested. But I doubt there will be much interest, especially at the price they are charging. Brand new for Toyota cost more than S$500. Even lobang price is slightly more than 50%. Jeez.
As you can see, putting them up is a bit tricky if you want to get the alignment right. Need two pairs of hands, a piece of string and a lot of adjustments. Obviously the guys at AC had plenty of experience with these type of application.
Up in less than 40 mins. About 20 mins on each side and in perfect alignment.
Final picture on how it looks like. Click on the picture for a 1024 pixel size image.
Now I have to find my eyelids. Where did I put it?
