Saw the bonnet damper on Lim's car and it feels really good. Once you open the damper beyond a certain level, it lifts up automatically. However, you need to install both sides. Otherwise, it's too heavy for a single damper and it can just slam down on your hands.
To be honest, I don't really like the faux carbon fibre look on the bonnet damper. Wonder if they have a black or chrome one. Item cost about S$200 and is made for Wish. Special order from Taiwan, but I can't seem to find it in the shops in Taipei. Yet.
And whilst we are on the subject of Lim's car, Justin and I managed to convince Lim to finally put a decal on his ride. He's the type that don't like any sticker or emblem on his ride. Not even the road tax decal. So the nice white TRD decal now sits proudly on his back windscreen!
Two parting pictures to show how different perspective on the same car can make it look so different. Henry and I had a discussion on this earlier as we browse the Gialla site. And in car brochures, the manufacturers alway know how to pick the best angle to present the cars. Something to learn if we want to take nice pictures of our rides.
