It's finally here! Just collected it yesterday night and fixed it up immediately. Now it looks much brighter when you are braking. Nice!
This is the original 3 LED third brake light and the one below is the new 15 LED version. For those interested, this is from Toyota Taiwan and the part number is 81570-0M010.
Here's what it looks like when lit. Not exactly an obvious enhancement, but it certainly improves visibility at night when braking.
